Overview
Hardman Grey Recruitment is partnering with our client to recruit a Graduate / Project Civil Engineer. You’ll support civil design projects in commercial, residential, industrial, healthcare, and education sectors, working on schemes up to £40 million in value.
The Engineer Will Be Responsible For
* Designing below-ground foul and surface water drainage systems
* Undertaking civil design across multidisciplinary projects (up to £40m)
* Producing AutoCAD drawings and technical documentation
* Liaising with planning departments and flood authorities
* Contributing to SuDS design and highway-drainage interface
* Managing deadlines and self-organising workload
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* A relevant civil engineering qualification plus 2–3 years’ experience
* Experience with drainage systems, SuDS, and highways integration
* Competence in AutoCAD, MicroDrainage, and/or InfoDrainage
* Strong initiative and teamwork skills
* Full UK driving licence and own transport
* Excellent organisational and communication abilities
