This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial leadership and strategic planning within the School of the Biological Sciences. The successful candidate will support the School Finance Business Partner in delivering accurate financial advice, managing financial performance, and participating in transformative projects such as Financial Systems Replacement (FSR) and Enhanced Financial Transparency (EFT).
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality business partnering and financial planning support across departments and faculties.
* Lead the development of multi-year business plans aligned with the School's academic vision.
* Manage management reporting, financial analysis, and investment decision support.
* Develop and evaluate investment options, including financial aspects of major projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Qualified accountant with extensive experience in complex matrix organizations.
* Proven ability to engage effectively within complex institutional cultures.
* Strong influencing, analytical, and creative problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships at all levels.

Location and Additional Information
