Job Title: Booking Services Coordinator
The post holder will be responsible for delivering a variety of booking schedules for a centralised service, working collaboratively with all divisions to ensure that all national targets and departmental KPIs are met.
They will carry out their duties to contribute positively to the organisation, supporting the achievement of excellence by promoting equal opportunities, fairness, quality, and inclusion through best practices, monitoring, training, and evaluation.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the department's systems related to recruitment, selection, and staffing administration.
2. Manage daily staff operations to ensure effective administrative functioning of the service, including systems and equipment management.
3. Use initiative to ensure patient bookings align with local and national access targets.
4. Support the Elective Access Manager in providing a professional, efficient, centralised booking service for outpatient and inpatient schedules, maintaining KPIs.
5. Review booking utilisation daily across divisions and ensure compliance with trust standards.
6. Identify capacity issues and escalate as appropriate.
7. Maintain and update departmental reports.
8. Undertake IPDR and 121 sessions within the Access Team.
9. Ensure staffing levels are adequate to maintain service delivery and KPIs.
10. Monitor and maintain booking utilisation.
