Job Description: Sonablate HIFU Clinical Specialist (UK & Europe)
Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sonablate HIFU Clinical Specialist to provide expert clinical support, training, and education for high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU)procedures using the Sonablate HIFU system. This role bridges clinical expertise and technical knowledge to ensure safe, efficient, and successful adoption of HIFU technology in urology practices and healthcare institutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide on-site clinical support during live HIFU procedures, guiding physicians and staff in safe and optimal use of the Sonablate HIFU system.
* Deliver hands-on training and education for urologists, operating theatre staff, and clinical teams on the operation, setup, and workflow of Sonablate HIFU technology.
* Serve as a subject matter expert on HIFU clinical applications, procedure planning, and patient selection criteria.
* Support case planning by collaborating with physicians on treatment strategies and system optimisation.
* Conduct product demonstrations, workshops, and symposiums for current and prospective users.
* Troubleshoot clinical and technical issues during cases, coordinating with engineering andservice teams as needed.
* Maintain detailed clinical records of system usage, outcomes, and physician feedback tosupport research, quality assurance, and product enhancement.
* Stay up to date with emerging trends, research, and guidelines in HIFU and urologic oncology.
* Provide feedback from the clinical environment to inform R&D and training program improvements.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Biomedical Sciences, Medical Technology, or related healthcare field.
* Valid clinical background with experience in urology, oncology, or medical device support(HIFU, imaging, radiation, robotics, or minimally invasive technologies).
* Proven track record in clinical training, operating room support, or medical device implementation.
* Strong understanding of imaging modalities (ultrasound, MRI) and their clinical applications.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with physicians, hospitalstaff, and patients.
* Ability to travel extensively to support cases, trainings, and conferences.
