Salary: £110 – £130 per day

Cover Supervisors are the heartbeat of a well-run school day. Whether you’re stepping in for short-term cover or taking on a longer-term placement, you’ll be keeping lessons on track, students engaged, and classrooms buzzing with purpose. No lesson planning required, just your confidence, presence, and ability to lead a room.
Your role and responsibilities will include:
· Supervising whole classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff
· Delivering pre-prepared lesson work and ensuring students stay focused and on task
· Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
· Supporting students with questions and keeping them motivated
· Adapting quickly to different subjects, departments, and year groups
· Creating a positive, calm, and structured learning environment
The successful Cover Supervisor will have:
· CACHE Level 2 or 3 qualification, or at least 6 months of classroom experience
· Confidence managing classes of students aged 11–16+
· Strong communication and behaviour management skills
· Flexibility and a proactive approach to school life
· A calm, confident presence and a great sense of humour when needed
