Workshop Engineer
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Workshop Engineer to join their specialised engineering team in Coalville.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Vehicle Technician or Mechanical Engineer looking to advance their career into the HGV and specialist equipment sector.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and repairing advanced water and sewer cleaning machinery, contributing to a growing and professional workshop environment.

Salary up to £40,000 depending on experience
Monday to Friday working hours (6:30am – 3:00pm)

Maintain, service, and repair specialist HGV body equipment
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance on specialist machinery
Complete service and compliance documentation accurately
Deliver high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction
Ensure safe and efficient workshop operations
Support continuous training and knowledge sharing within the teamRequirements of a Workshop Engineer:
Proven experience working on HGVs, LCVs, or commercial vehicles
Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills
Capable of diagnostics and fault finding
Full UK driving licence is essential
Reliable, proactive, and able to work under pressure
Excellent communication and customer service skills
