Forklift Counterbalance Driver

Rotating Shifts: 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm (weekly rotation)
GI Group are recruiting on behalf of a leading packaging company based in the Marston Green area of Birmingham. We are looking for an experienced Forklift Counterbalance Driver to join their busy warehouse team on a long-term basis.
Key Details:
Location: Marston Green, Birmingham
Shifts: 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm, rotating weekly
Job Type: Full-time, ongoing
Industry: Packaging / Warehouse
Responsibilities:
Operating a counterbalance forklift truck safely and efficiently
Loading and unloading vehicles and palletised goods
Moving stock around the warehouse and production areas
Supplying materials to production lines as required
Completing basic stock checks and following site processes
Adhering to all health & safety and company procedures
Requirements:
Valid, in-date Counterbalance Forklift licence (essential)
Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar counterbalance role
Recent, proven experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
Confident operating in a fast-paced setting with tight deadlines
Good attention to detail and a strong focus on safety
Reliable, punctual and able to work rotating shifts (earlies and lates)
