Fully Funded Postgraduate Diploma in Midwifery (Band 5 Salary)
Train as a midwife with a fully funded two-year Postgraduate Diploma, in partnership with London South Bank University (LSBU) and Newham University Hospital. You'll earn a Band 5 salary, gain hands-on experience, and have your tuition fees (£9,535/year) fully covered. This full-time, 2-year programme is 50% clinical placement at Newham and 50% academic study at LSBU. It prepares registered Adult Nurses (NMC Level 1) to become autonomous, confident midwives.

Experience
* Worked in a variety of settings utilising all life skills or transferable skills
* At least 6 months post qualification clinical working experience as an adult nurse on the NMC register in the UK
Qualifications
* A registered Adult nurse (level 1) with current registration with the NMC;
* Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2:2: with a minimum qualification of Diploma in Higher Education with evidence of study at Level 6
* Completion of a Research Awareness course
Knowledge
* Current knowledge of Midwifery practice.
* Awareness of latest Government indicatives' around Maternity/Midwifery
* Good standard of written and verbal communication at all times
