Care Assistant - Layston Grove, Buntingford
42 Hours per Week | 8am – 8pm Shifts | Every Other Weekend Off

About Layston Grove

Layston Grove is a beautifully designed, contemporary residential care home set within private landscaped gardens in the charming market town of Buntingford. We provide high-quality residential and dementia care for up to 66 residents in a warm, welcoming, and luxurious environment.

Our home is rated “Good” by the CQC and holds an impressive 9.7/10 rating on, reflecting the outstanding care and support delivered by our dedicated team.

At Layston Grove, we create a true home-from-home atmosphere where residents can continue to live rich, meaningful, and independent lives with the reassurance of 24-hour support whenever needed.

A Role Where Every Day Matters

As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents through kindness, companionship, dignity, and person-centred care.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Providing respectful personal care and support
2. Assisting residents during mealtimes
3. Supporting residents with daily routines and wellbeing
4. Building meaningful relationships with residents and families
5. Being a listening ear, a friendly face, and a source of comfort and encouragement
6. Helping create a fun, engaging, and positive environment for residents to enjoy

7. Organised 2-week rolling rota
8. Consistent 12-hour shifts (8am - 8pm)
9. Every other weekend off

Please note that applicants must already have the legal right to work in the UK. Unfortunately, this role does not currently meet the requirements for Skilled Worker Visa sponsorship.
