Job Title: Adult Social Worker
Location: London
Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00
Pay: Up to £38.27 per hour (umbrella)
About the Role:
We are seeking a qualified Adult Social Worker to provide assessment and care management services to adults in need across the borough. You will work closely with service users, carers, and partner agencies to deliver personalised social care in line with the Care Act 2014.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct statutory assessments and develop support plans for adults requiring social care.
2. Arrange timely and effective care services, ensuring service users' needs and choices are prioritised.
3. Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to safeguard vulnerable adults.
4. Maintain accurate records using departmental IT systems.
5. Participate in team meetings, supervision, and ongoing professional development.
6. Promote equality, confidentiality, and respect in all interactions.
Essential Qualifications & Skills:
7. Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
8. Strong knowledge of the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and safeguarding protocols.
9. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
10. Ability to use IT systems including Microsoft Word, Windows, and willingness to learn Mosaic.
