I am a lady living with long‑term physical and mental health conditions, currently managing a busy household with my husband, two lively young children, aged 2 and 4 and a dog. I have a dry sense of humour and a friendly, down‑to‑earth approach, but I can find it difficult to accept help therefore patience, encouragement and a calm, warm presence are essential. I am looking for a Personal Assistant who can support me with practical day‑to‑day tasks, helping to reduce pressure and create more balance at home.
Location: Marham, PE33
Details:
* Food preparation and batch cooking for the week, accommodating my food allergies.
* Support to clean and tidy the kitchen after cooking.
* Meal planning that supports healthy, nutritious choices for the whole family.
* Support with shopping - either accompanying me or helping me access the community to do this.
Personal Specification:
* The ideal candidate will be reliable, supportive, friendly, and confident working around children and pets.
* If you enjoy helping families stay organised and thrive in a role that combines practical tasks with positive encouragement, this could be a great fit.
Essential:
* Patience and the ability to reassure and support someone who sometimes struggles to accept help.
* Comfortable around young children and a friendly family dog.
Desirable:
* Experience working in a family setting or with individuals with long‑term health conditions.
Summary Terms and Conditions:
* The rate of pay for this position is £12.89 per hour.
* Hours and times of work as follows: 7 hours per week, ideally Thursday or Friday.
* The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks.
* Access to free Care Skills training for employed workers.
* The post is subject to a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
* Completion of a satisfactory probation period of 6 months.
