Warwickshire Pension Fund is seeking a proactive Pensions Officer to join our Membership Team. About the Role
As a Pensions Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely administration of pension benefits within the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS). You’ll handle a variety of complex casework, support junior colleagues, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our processes and projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Calculating and processing pension transfers, including transfers in and out of the Fund.
2. Managing divorce cases, ensuring accurate calculations, compliance with pension sharing orders, and clear communication with members and external agencies.
3. Checking and validating calculations and payments to maintain accuracy, compliance, and a high standard of service.
4. Contributing to project work, including system improvements, regulatory changes, and service development initiatives.
5. Supporting Pensions Assistants, offering guidance, quality checking, and sharing technical knowledge to help build capability within the team.

10. Ideally has experience in pension administration
