In this role, you will support students with MLD, SLD and PMLD, working both 1:1 and with small groups to ensure they are able to engage with learning and feel supported throughout the school day. You will play a key role in adapting activities, encouraging participation, and helping pupils to develop both academically and socially. The successful candidate will have strong SEND experience and be confident in working with a variety of communication methods to meet individual needs. A good understanding of EHCPs and IEPs is essential, as you will be expected to follow and contribute to personalised support strategies. This is a role for someone who is calm under pressure, flexible in their approach, and able to build positive, professional relationships with both pupils and staff. You should be confident in managing challenges and thinking on your feet to provide the best possible support.
