Purpose of the role
Carrying out administration duties related to the day-to-day operations, health & safety, and quality within the LGV Workshop. Ensuring all statutory paperwork is completed in a timely manner, in line with the company's O Licence undertakings, while observing the guidelines in DVSA's guide to maintaining roadworthiness and vehicle manufacturer manuals. Ensuring all relevant fleet compliance is adhered to.
Key Accountabilities
* Assist with health and safety within the workshop, including PPE control, COSHH, risk assessments, legionella control, and contractor management by maintaining the contractor database (including Avetta, inductions, task authorisations, permits to work).
* Raise requisitions and orders within SAP and Ariba systems.
* Deal with external suppliers and process invoices for goods and services received.
* Maintain all relevant statutory documentation.
* Assist the Workshop Manager/Coordinator in maintaining IMS documentation.
* Assist with re-ordering spare parts from stock as used.
* Liaise with Weighbridge Technicians regarding vehicle requirements.
* Perform administration duties for processing information within various management systems.
* Schedule training and keep records up to date for all workshop personnel.
* Maintain and administer Vehicle Exercise licences, Operator Licences, insurance, and MOTs for allocated sites.
* Coordinate and monitor accident management for Hanson LGVs at allocated sites.
* Manage driver prosecutions process for Hanson LGVs at allocated sites.
* Monitor and track fleet fuel usage, maintain stock levels, and re-order as needed.
* Provide reports as required and perform any other ad hoc duties to ensure smooth distribution operations.
