* Contract & Schedule: Full time, permanent role. 40 hours/ week, Mon-Fri, 8-hour shifts.

Overview of Role
This hands‑on role involves assembling, maintaining, and testing electric vehicles to ensure top‑tier performance and reliability. This is a full‑time position based at Munro Vehicles’ facility in East Kilbride, offering the opportunity to work at the forefront of electric vehicle innovation.
* You will have a strong understanding of automotive systems and diagnostic processes, combined with a commitment to Health and Safety standards and quality assurance practices.
* Hands‑on and detail‑oriented, you will take responsibility for the assembly, maintenance, and repair of Munro’s vehicles, ensuring every vehicle meets our performance and reliability standards. Your work will span across mechanical, electrical, and software‑integrated systems, from initial build through testing and final delivery. In a rapidly growing company, you will play a key role in refining and implementing processes that drive efficiency, consistency, and sustainable growth.
* You will collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to integrate new designs and technologies into the build process, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the workshop.
* Strong technical skills, a structured approach to problem‑solving, and clear communication are essential. You will contribute to a positive, safety‑focused culture and help shape Munro’s reputation for quality and reliability. Occasional travel to supplier or customer sites may be required to support delivery or service activities.
Assembly & Testing
* Reading and understanding schematics and assembly instructions.
* Verifying dimensions and specifications.
* Ensuring all required parts for assembly are present.
* Fit and test components for full functionality.
Quality & Safety
* Ensure quality control standards are met.
* Maintain production schedule and provide updates when required.
* Adhere to workshop safety protocols.
* Proficiency in operating workshop handheld tools.
* Good organisational and communication skills.
* An exceptional eye for detail and quality of workmanship.
* Good understanding of ‘Safe working Practice’ in a workshop environment.
