We are seeking an enthusiastic Graduate Field Engineer to join our client's team located in Hampshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of scientific and electronic equipment in various field settings - All over the World!. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and internal teams. You will be expected to carry out on-site diagnostics, ensure the proper functioning of electronic systems, and contribute to the smooth operation of scientific processes across multiple locations. The ideal candidate should have a background in physics or electronics, with hands-on experience in field or installation activities within scientific or electronic environments.
A degree in Electronics or Physics with exposure to running, repairing, maintaining complex scientific instrumentation
Strong knowledge of electronic systems used in scientific applications
Willingness to travel and be field based (30 - 50% of the time)
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Valid UK driver’s license and willingness to undertake travel within the UK and Internationally
