Overview
Touro's Lander College of Men's is hiring adjunct faculty in the athletic department. Adjuncts are responsible for instruction, course preparation, developing instructional materials, student advisement, grading, and assessment as a member of the instructional team of a school or academic department.
Responsibilities
* Prepares and delivers lectures to undergraduate students
* Prepare course materials including: syllabi, exams, homework assignments, and handouts
* Creating a classroom environment where students feel comfortable participating and learning
* Preparing students for assessments and providing helpful performance feedback
* Maintains regularly scheduled office hours in order to advise and assist students checking college emails regularly
* Keeping up-to-date with advancements in the field and integrating new knowledge into curriculum
Qualifications
Education/ Experience
* Previous college level athletic teaching experience preferred
Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities
* Demonstrated ability and desire to teach
* Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
* Expert knowledge of field
* Ability to make decisions and solve problems
* Performs administrative activities
Maximum Salary
USD $79.00/Hr.
Minimum Salary
