About Auto Trader We're Auto Trader, the UK's leading automotive marketplace and a FTSE 100 tech-listed company, uniting the largest and most engaged consumer audience with the most extensive network of vehicle sellers. At our core, it's all about people. We embrace diversity, celebrate our differences, and forge our own path. Our six core values define our distinct culture, and our dedication to in-person collaboration sets us apart. About the job We're looking for a Product Manager to join our Advertising Marketplace Product Team at Auto Trader. Our Marketplace is constantly evolving with lots of scope for innovation which makes it a great opportunity for someone to come in and truly make an impact on how we buy & sell cars in the UK. One of our biggest challenges in this space is balancing our Consumer and Customer (retailer) needs while making sound Commercial decisions. There's no clear cut solution when it comes to balancing these "3 Cs", but it's a great opportunity for someone with a curious and adaptable mindset to see how we can improve our products in this space. This role will enable you to focus on our advertising products. These include our Pay Per Click products which retailers use strategically to promote specific vehicles. Other examples include our products which extend retailers' reach across the country, connecting them to more potential car buyers. You will be part of the team responsible for some of Auto Trader's key consumer journeys. These include our search experience, which is used by millions of consumers each month, through to the advert details page where we utilise our extensive data to provide insights to the consumer to build confidence in the vehicle and the seller. You'll work with engineers and designers to manage the backlog of activity, identifying opportunities to optimise the performance of products in life. Collaborating with stakeholders across the business, you'll analyse data and user feedback to optimise product performance. This truly is an exciting area of the business to work in, where several teams work together to make Auto Trader the best place to buy a car. Our established community of product people are having a real impact at Auto Trader. Driving change and constantly innovating.
