About The Role
Please notes: This role is for Nights, 38.5hrs per week working (12hr shifts with unpaid breaks) 3on/3off.
As a Night Senior Care Assistant at Brinnington Hall, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our care. Every single person who works here understands that our residents are people just like them with their own stories to tell. By joining us, you’ll have a wonderful opportunity to give something back to those people.
Your responsibilities will include planning and implementing care that provides our residents with security, dignity, and independence. You will get to know our residents and their families, ensuring we deliver personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will maintain high standards of care and influence the team positively. Your duties will include assisting with mobility, end-of-life care, medication administration, and engaging residents in social and recreational activities.
A key part of your role is to maintain accurate records and build strong team relationships. Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility; you must recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the procedures to follow if concerns arise. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training and undertake additional role-specific training. You should be able to seek advice and escalate concerns appropriately.
