Acquisition Manager UK & EU - Sticks'n'Sushi
We are a team of big smiles 'n' small egos.
Welcome to Sticks'n'Sushi - where Japan meets Denmark in the most deliciously unexpected way.
We're a bold blend of tradition and innovation - a place where classic sushi and yakitori sticks share the table. Whether you're a seafood lover or more into meat from the grill, there's something here for everyone.
Born in Copenhagen in 1994, Sticks'n'Sushi was founded by two Japanese-Danish brothers and their brother-in-law. With a unique blend of cultures and culinary traditions, they created something entirely new - and unforgettable.
Today, we're a growing family of restaurants in Copenhagen, Berlin, and the UK - known for exceptional food, thoughtful Danish design, and a commitment to developing talented people.
As we continue our expansion across Europe, we're seeking an experienced and proactive Acquisitions Manager to support our growth plans from behind the scenes.
Key expansion areas include the Midlands and North UK, France, the Nordics, and the DACH region.
The Acquisitions Manager will identify, evaluate, and secure new restaurant sites, including:
1. Building and managing a pipeline of prospective locations
2. Engaging with landlords, property owners, agents, architects, and contractors
3. Preparing and presenting business cases to the Executive Team and Board
4. Collaborating with the Estates Director on location briefs, design, permits, and construction, ensuring alignment with development strategy
This role requires strong commercial acumen, stakeholder management skills, and project oversight. Proven project management capability is essential, as multiple projects will run in parallel across several countries. Frequent travel across the UK and Europe is expected.
