The Role
Are you passionate about marketing and keen to make a real difference? Herts Careline, the Council’s community alarm and telecare service, is looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Assistant to support our growing service.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone early in their marketing career to develop their skills while helping to promote a service that supports older and vulnerable people across Hertfordshire. You’ll work on a mix of digital and traditional marketing, helping us communicate clearly and sensitively with customers, families, health and social care professionals.
You’ll be part of a supportive team and will have the chance to contribute ideas, learn new skills, and see the real impact of your work.
Responsibilities
* Updating and editing website content
* Creating social media posts and monitoring engagement
* Writing brochure copy, press releases and eNewsletters
* Supporting campaigns and analysing results
* Using tools such as Google Analytics to understand performance
* Attending local events and helping promote the service
* Contributing to regular reporting on marketing activity
Experience and Qualifications
Working as part of a team to promote and enhance the Herts Careline service, you’ll help encourage new customers to join and raise awareness of how we can help. You’ll be a confident and engaging communicator, comfortable connecting with members of the public as well as health and social care professionals. You’ll have experience of using a range of communication channels – both digital and print – and an understanding of the importance of communicating in a sensitive and respectful way.
You’ll have a good understanding of digital and traditional marketing, be able to work to deadlines and budgets, and the flexibility to juggle multiple tasks at once. You’ll also be organised, adaptable, and open to learning as priorities change.
