About the Role
We are seeking a Project Compliance Lead to join the P-AIC project, which is working to provide the UK with global access to reliable, timely, accurate and assured Aeronautical Information that’s fit for purpose to enable safe aviation activities. The project uses Scaled Agile (SAFe) to deliver a digital solution using three delivery teams supported by a platform team.
Rate will be dependent on your experience:
SQEP personnel at Professional L1 experience: up to £750/day
SQEP personnel at Senior Professional experience: up to £930/day
The position is a hybrid role with approx. 1 days/week on site which can be based at either Bristol, Malvern or London with some occasional travel to Edinburgh and Cambridge. The role is part time at 0.5 full time effort. Candidates must hold SC clearance and be sole UK nationals.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure that the solution being delivered is appropriately compliant with regulations, legislations and standards.
* Provide pragmatic solutions to achieve required levels of compliance.
* Work within a blended team of customer, supplier and subcontractors, making recommendation and providing direction.
* Informing the prioritisation of work to achieve the desired outcomes.
Essential Skills and Experience
* Ability to be flexible to meet demands of a geographically dispersed team, including travel to Edinburgh and Cambridge.
* Proven experience working within an Agile development framework (Scrum or Kanban)
* Familiarity with the Defence Aeronautical Information Authority (DAIA), part of Defence Airspace and Air Traffic Management (DAATM) and the Military Aviation Authority (MAA).
* Familiarity with No 1 Aeronautical Information Documents Unit (AIDU), based at RAF Northolt.
* Strong knowledge of EU 2017/373, RA1030, ED 76 A (or B), and awareness of ED 153 and ED 215.
* Ideally knowledge of Aeronautical Information Exchange Module (AIXM).
* Ability to be pragmatic
