We have an exciting opportunity in our Licensing Team!

This is a full-time, permanent role with a salary of £24,895 to £28,132 per annum.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic to join our Licensing team.

The Role:

Reporting to the Licensing Team Leader, your role will involve:

1. The processing of applications for hackney carriage and private hire drivers, vehicles and operators, involving face to face appointments with the applicants
2. Working with licensing officers to determine whether applicants are “fit and proper” to hold a licence
3. Taking payments and dealing with all of the required paperwork and online administration.

What we are looking for:

4. Experience in administration work, including finance and payments
5. Experience of dealing directly, face to face, with customers and members of the public
6. Experience of working in a large organisation such as a local authority
7. IT literacy with wide experience of common applications
8. Previous experience in working in licensing would be desirable
