Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to provide personalised educational support to students. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tutoring or teaching, with experience working with children, including those with special educational needs. This role requires excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students and foster a positive learning environment.
Duties
* Assess individual student needs and develop tailored lesson plans to enhance their learning experience.
* Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions in various subjects as required.
* Monitor and track student progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary to ensure understanding and retention of material.
* Create a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes student confidence and motivation.
* Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress and areas for improvement.
* Collaborate with other educators and specialists to support students with special educational needs effectively.
Skills
* Experienced Maths Skills
* Clear spoken English to connect with student
* Understand Cambridge and Oxford maths curriculum
* Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably in a one-on-one setting.
* Strong understanding of educational principles and practices, particularly for children.
* Experience working with children, including those with special educational needs, is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey information clearly and effectively.
* Ability to build rapport with students and create an engaging learning environment that caters to diverse learning styles.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £17.14-£30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 37.5 per week
