Post Title: Speech & Language Therapist Graduate
Location: The Pines, Inverness
Hours: 36 hours per week
Duration: Permanent
Salary: £34,494 - £42,977 per annum
Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose: To work as part of a team that provide a Speech and Language Therapy Service to for a range of children who have speech, language, and / or communication difficulties, dysphagia and/or eating and drinking difficulties, working within paediatrics - in accordance with national, Highland Council (HC) and NHS Highland policies and guidelines

Requirements

• Recognised Speech and Language Therapy Degree Qualification or equivalent




• Licence to practice as a Speech and Language Therapist as issued by the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT)




• HCPC registration.




• Means to travel efficiently and effectively between various locations within Highland to meet the operation requirements of the service.

This position is classified as a regulated role. As such, an Overseas Criminal Record Check may be required depending on your nationality and recent residency history. Specifically, this check will be necessary if you do not meet both of the following criteria:

• You must be a national of the United Kingdom or one of the following countries: Germany, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Hungary, Greece, France, Ireland, Italy, Spain, or Poland.




• You must not have lived or worked in any country outside of the UK or those listed above for a period of three months or more, while aged 18 years or over, within the past five years.

Please note that it is your responsibility to obtain the Overseas Criminal Record Check, and you will be required to cover any associated costs.
