Senior CAD Technician Designer Warrington up to £40,000 DOE Were working with a leading manufacturing and installation business to find a skilled and detail-driven CAD Designer to join their busy technical team. This role is ideal for someone with strong AutoCAD skills and production design experience, who enjoys working on varied and complex projects from the initial design concept through to final installation. Key Responsibilities Produce general arrangement and production drawings (2D CAD). Prepare fabrication packs, cutting lists, and material schedules (Excel). Carry out UK-wide site surveys (pool car & expenses provided). Collaborate across departments including sales, planning, production, and installation. Chair pre-installation meetings to ensure smooth handover of your designs. Communicate directly with clients to agree on design specifications and details. Generate RAMS, as-built drawings, and support the creation of O&M manuals. Support sales by producing visual aids and sales drawings when required. Skills Required Proven experience using AutoCAD (2D essential). Strong skills in Excel for material schedules and production documentation. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Ability to manage multiple projects independently. Flexibility to attend site visits and meetings across the UK. Solid awareness of CDM and other regulatory frameworks.
