Deputy Manager – Social Care | Domiciliary & Complex Care at Home We’re looking for an experienced Deputy Manager from the social care sector who is interested in exploring a new and interesting part of the sector. If you have leadership and management experience in a CQC-regulated service, this role offers the chance to gain valuable experience working with both children and adults with complex needs in their own homes. While experience in complex care or children’s services is desirable, it is not essential – what matters most is your proven ability to lead a team, manage a service, and maintain high standards of care. The Deputy Manager Role As Deputy Manager, you will: * Support the Registered Manager with the day-to-day running of the service, deputising in their absence * Oversee staff management, including supervision, appraisal and training * Support in the recruitment, onboarding and development of social care staff * Have oversight of care packages, ensuring Care Coordinators manage them effectively and in line with CQC standards * Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement person-centred care plans, including positive behaviour support strategies * Promote a positive and supportive team culture where staff feel valued and motivated About You We welcome applicants from a variety of social care backgrounds. You’ll bring: * Experience as a Deputy Manager or Service Manager within a CQC-regulated service (such as domiciliary care, complex care at home, supported living or residential settings) * A good understanding of CQC regulations and quality standards * Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop your team * A proactive, hands-on approach and commitment to delivering high-quality care * Ideally, a Level 5 qualification in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards this) Interested?
