We're seeking an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our team as a Vehicle Damage Panel Technician Apprentice. This is an excellent opportunity to start a career with one of the UK's leading automotive groups, where you'll learn the skills needed to repair and restore vehicles to high standards. Over 36-40 months, you'll work towards a nationally recognized Level 3 Vehicle Damage Panel Technician qualification. You'll gain hands-on experience, develop technical skills, and contribute to returning vehicles to their best condition.

Your Journey as a Vehicle Damage Panel Technician:
1. Learn to assess vehicle damage and determine appropriate repair methods and materials.
2. Assist in removing and installing damaged vehicle panels, trim, and components.
3. Develop proficiency in using hand and power tools, such as grinders, sanders, and welders, for repairing and reshaping vehicle body panels.
4. Perform body filler application, sanding, and shaping for smooth surfaces and seamless repairs.
5. Assist in repairing minor dents, scratches, and surface imperfections using suitable techniques.
6. Support the preparation and application of primer, paint, and clear coat.
7. Work with colleagues to ensure quality control and safety protocols are followed during repairs.
8. Maintain a clean and organized work area, with proper storage of tools and materials.
9. Use measuring and alignment tools for accurate panel fitment and alignment.
10. Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance technical skills, repair knowledge, and safety awareness.
Requirements:
* A genuine passion for vehicles.
* The ability to follow instructions precisely and diligently.
* Enthusiasm and a keen eye for detail.
* Minimum grade C or Grade 4 in English and Maths.
