Fawkes & Reece South are working with a growing contractor that works on civil engineering and groundworks projects on behalf of developers and private clients throughout Hampshire and Dorset. They are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on projects are worth between £500k and £2m based on both JCT & NEC contracts. Scope of works includes infrastructure works, footpaths, retaining walls, bridges and drainage etc.
They are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a busy team to work with the Commercial Manager on various commercial duties that will include:
* Accurate monthly forecasting
* Producing and sending subcontractors enquiries
* Producing monthly reports and cost value reconciliations
* Managing change and producing compensation events
* Agreeing on variations
* Preparing final accounts
Requirements including certificates and qualifications:
Degree-qualified or equivalent in a civil engineering subject
Experience working on any civil engineering or groundworks related projects
Candidates must be able to prove their eligibility to work in the UK
