Are you a skilled Project Manager with an engineering background? Do you thrive in fast-paced, high-hazard environments where precision, planning, and communication are key?
An established engineering firm in the Kilmarnock area is seeking a Project Manager to oversee complex engineering projects from concept to completion. You'll be the bridge between technical teams, clients, and operations—making sure every job is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities

Plan & Schedule Projects: Align engineering specifications with production schedules to meet client expectations.
*
Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Coordinate with engineers, technicians, and designers to keep progress on track.
*
Manage Materials & Resources: Use Bills of Material (BOMs) to ensure timely procurement and availability.
*
Interpret Technical Drawings: Provide oversight and guidance on engineering plans and specifications.
*
Maintain Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all HSE regulations are met and project documentation is complete.
*
Drive Quality & Improvement: Deliver results while supporting continuous improvement across the project lifecycle.
What We're Looking For
*
A degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering (preferred)
*
Experience managing projects in engineering, rail, or high-hazard industries
*
Strong understanding of technical documentation and CAD familiarity
*
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Project and PowerPoint
*
Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving skills
