Job Description
Morgan Hunt are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Manager to join a busy public sector environment on a temporary to permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and organised individual with a strong maintenance management background to secure a long-term role.Applicants can come from any recognised trade background, including electrical, mechanical, or joinery disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing day-to-day maintenance operations
* Overseeing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules
* Ensuring compliance with industry standards and health & safety regulations
* Managing and updating computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS)
* Coordinating contractors and maintenance teams
* Monitoring performance, repairs, and reactive maintenance works
* Supporting continuous improvement across facilities operations
Essential Requirements:
* SVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent) in a recognised electrical, mechanical, or joinery trade discipline
* HNC in an Engineering subject
* IOSH Managing Safely certificate (or equivalent)
* Proven experience within facilities management and maintenance operations
* Experience managing PPM schedules and computerised maintenance repair systems
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Must be able to pass a disclosure/background check for this role
