We are currently looking for a driven and ambitious Business Development Executive to join the ZX Measurements Team based in Blantyre, Glasgow. As the Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for creating, identifying and closing new business opportunities and assisting in executing marketing strategies in order to generate revenue, retain and grow the current client base and help the business develop globally. This is an exciting and varied position which will include (but not be limited to) the following areas: Researching and identifying new business opportunities and new ways of reaching existing markets Acting as the first point of contact for all customer enquiries Building and maintaining excellent working relationships with customers, partners, suppliers, associations and the broader ZX market. Identifying appropriate contacts in target organisations Generating leads and contact potential customers Arranging initial meetings with prospective clients (face to face or phone/video conferencing) Achieving and exceeding in annual sales targets and contributing to the overall company performance targets Having a good understanding of the businesses' products or services Liaising with the ZX Lidars marketing team to discuss promotional strategy and activities Developing and fostering a Company online presence through networking platforms such as LinkedIn This is a great opportunity for a suitably experienced sales or marketing professional looking to take their next step within a growing company providing quality leading services at the cutting edge of the wind measurement Industry. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in a similar role or area of expertise and be an excellent oral and written communicator who is organised and self-motivated. This is a Permanent Full-Time role, working 35 hours per week based at our office in Blantyre (Glasgow, G72 0AD) offering a hybrid work pattern. Occasionally it will be required to attend customer and partner visits, industry events and workshops, globally as appropriate for the representation of the company and it’s products therefore a Full Driving License is required.
