We are recruiting for a Customer Consultant to work at our Harrogate and Wetherby branches.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Engage with customers: Find out their needs, provide information about our full savings range, products, and services.
2. Understand customer needs: Listen to and get to know our customers to help review their circumstances and goals.
3. Provide service: Offer a straightforward, helpful service with enthusiasm and professionalism.
4. Support diverse engagement channels: Support customers face-to-face, virtually, and via outbound contact.
5. Build relationships: Be the friendly face and voice, a listener, a problem solver, and a knowledge resource.

What Will You Be Doing?
1. First Point of Contact: Welcome customers warmly, making a positive first impression.
2. Engage and Understand: Ask insightful questions to uncover customer needs.
3. Listen and Tailor Solutions: Offer personalized solutions to meet their needs.
4. Proactive Outreach: Contact customers by phone to identify needs and discuss support options.
5. Maintain Records: Keep customer records accurate and up-to-date, especially supporting vulnerable customers.
6. Adhere to Policies: Follow internal policies, standards, and controls with training and coaching support.
What Do We Need From You?
* Previous experience interacting with customers, in person or over the phone.
* Experience in retail, food & beverage, guest services, health/care sectors, or banking/building societies is welcome.
* Ability to work well in a team and handle busy periods with good time management.
* Desire to grow, adapt, and meet business needs.

* Salary: £23,600 per annum, pro-rated to £19,665.88 for 30 hours/week.
