This role is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children at the very start of their education journey. Role Overview: As an EYFS TA, you will provide vital classroom support to the teacher and children, helping to deliver engaging lessons and create a nurturing, stimulating environment for pupils to thrive. You will work with small groups and on a 1:1 basis to support children’s academic, social, and emotional development. As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will: Support the class teacher in delivering creative and engaging EYFS lessons. Assist children with their learning through play, group activities, and structured tasks. Provide 1:1 support for pupils who may need additional help with learning and development. Encourage positive behaviour and help to build children’s confidence and independence. Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment. Support with classroom organisation, resources, and displays. Requirements for EYFS Teaching Assistant: Experience working within an EYFS or early childhood setting. A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential). Passion for supporting young children in their educational development. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
