The post holder will undertake clinical casework within the children's speech and language therapy team, working with a defined caseload, accountable to designated qualified speech and language therapists and with some autonomy in allocation of work. The assistant will have clerical and administrative duties as well as responsibility for room and equipment preparation.
Responsibilities
* Facilitate and coordinate SLT interventions into settings and schools, acting as liaison with schools and SENCOs to book graduated approach interventions such as communication clinics and strategy support.
* Provide clerical and administrative support and ensure room and equipment are prepared for sessions.
