About the Role - Completes fair and accurate disposition of pending total loss claims through evaluation, settlement, or recommendation
Responsibilities
Evaluates total loss appraisals to effect settlement within authority by:
* Using available resources to determine accurate actual cash value
* Negotiating vehicle value with 1st and 3rd parties and their representatives
* Controlling salvage costs and resolution.
* Working with manager to resolve difficult situations
Develops and maintains claim files that document all activities
Performs other activities as required
Qualifications
* College degree or equivalent work experience required
* 1+ years of property claims experience required
