Education/Qualifications
Essential criteria
1. Certificate in Higher Education in Clinical Imaging (X-ray) or equivalent.
Desirable criteria
2. Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD).
Knowledge and Experience
Essential criteria
3. Evidence of completion of relevant radiography modules.
4. Experience performing routine X-ray examinations following departmental protocols.
5. Understanding of radiation protection and IR(ME)R principles.
Desirable criteria
6. Experience working within an NHS Radiology Department
7. Experience using RIS/PACS systems.
Skills and Abilities
Essential criteria
8. Ability to prioritise workload and work efficiently under supervision
9. Good communication and interpersonal skills
10. Basic IT and keyboard skills

11. Experience mentoring or supporting trainees or new staff
