MERJE is working with a Life Insurance client to hire an Actuarial Manager for their Actuarial function, focusing on Reporting and Capital.
This role involves a mix of standard reporting responsibilities and new project work related to an exciting growth opportunity. The candidate will support the addition of a new structure to their reporting processes.
Requirements:
1. Qualified Actuaries - essential. Recent qualifications are suitable, but more experienced candidates are also welcome.
2. Experience in Life Insurance is ideal, though candidates from Pensions and Investment sectors are also considered suitable.
3. Reporting experience is advantageous; broader Capital/Risk experience is a plus.
4. Regulatory knowledge - Solvency II/IFRS.
5. Modelling software knowledge - RAFM preferred, but others like Prophet are also acceptable.
