Leading by example during busy services 2. Making sure every customer feels welcomed and well looked after 3. Dealing with any issues calmly and positively 4. Keeping service flowing smoothly and maintaining high standards Looking after the team 25% 1. Recruiting, training, and supporting front-of-house staff 2. Creating fair and workable rotas 3. Building a positive, supportive team culture 4. Communicating clearly and kindly, even when its busy Keeping things running day to day 20% 1. Opening and closing the café 2. Working closely with the kitchen and wider management team 3. Managing bookings, walk-ins, and queues 4. Making sure health & safety and licensing standards are met Stock, cash & admin 10% 1. Keeping on top of front-of-house stock and supplies 2. Cash handling and end-of-day checks 3. Supporting admin and reporting Making things better 5% 1. Sharing ideas to improve service and customer experience 2. Supporting seasonal changes, events, and specials 3.
