A Requirements Manager plays a pivotal role in the Systems Engineering team, overseeing effective requirements management throughout the system lifecycle.
The key responsibilities include defining and maintaining requirements baseline, managing contractual changes, decomposing and allocating system requirements across the business, developing and maintaining the Requirements Strategy, and ensuring full traceability.
Additionally, the Requirements Manager is responsible for managing Verification Cross Reference Matrix (VCRM) and V&V evidence in DOORS, supporting change impact assessments and contract negotiations, providing regular metrics on requirements acceptance progress, and acting as a DOORS expert offering training and guidance company-wide.
The ideal candidate will possess an engineering degree or equivalent qualification, experience managing requirements in real-time, safety-critical environments, strong knowledge of DOORS, including DXL scripting and IT support structures, background in systems engineering and V&V processes, and a proven track record on complex, multi-site programmes.
Familiarity with Air Traffic Management or regulated environments, experience developing DOORS processes and data structures, and knowledge of Def Stan 00-972 and CAP 670 are desirable skills and experience.
This role offers a salary up to £70K + benefits.
