What you do
You will engage in large-scale, cross-functional audits, gaining in-depth business knowledge and enhancing your development within a multicultural environment. A Senior Auditor is a seasoned professional requiring minimal supervision, supporting lead auditors and managing less experienced team members. Your interpersonal skills will be vital in collaborating with various audit managers and Practice Heads overseeing your projects.
Occasionally, you may provide context to your audit findings during follow-up reviews to ensure timely implementation of recommendations. Additional tasks may be assigned by senior management, including the Head of Internal Audit, Head of Audit Practice, or overseeing Practice Heads.
Your key responsibilities:
1. Utilize your skills to assess risk management, control, governance effectiveness, and operational efficiency, documenting your work with proper references and comments.
2. Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding audit findings, recommendations, and associated risks, ensuring thorough support for your audit work.
3. Respect management's time through proper preparation and efficient scheduling of meetings, including planning, interviews, and closing discussions.
4. Ensure management action plans adequately address risks, reviewing final reports collaboratively with lead auditors and Practice Heads.
5. Develop strong working relationships with Function Heads and local CEOs, fostering trust and cooperation.
6. Enhance team skills through coaching and knowledge sharing, contributing to overall team development.
7. Support administrative tasks such as risk assessments, audit planning, and preparing work programs.
8. Present audit findings at closing meetings confidently and clearly.
What you bring
* 4-6 years of audit experience
* A proactive, energetic attitude and a positive approach to work
* Enthusiasm that motivates colleagues during audit missions
* Willingness to travel internationally 30-40%, with flexibility and adaptability to diverse cultures
* Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
* Comfort with international travel, including business class for flights over 5 hours
* Strong interviewing skills and disciplined approach from previous experience in auditing, project management, or risk management
* Proficiency in MS Office and interest in exploring new technologies like data analytics
* Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
* Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university
* Continuous learning mindset and curiosity about evolving business landscapes
* Professional certifications such as CA, CIA, CPA are advantageous
* Knowledge of UK FCA requirements and experience in financial services are highly desirable
* Fluent in additional languages is a plus
