Windsor Forest Colleges group is looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join our Construction Department at Slough & Langley College on a Term-Time Only basis.
Responsibilities
* Enable students to access the curriculum as fully as possible, supporting them to work towards their learning goals and potential.
* Work under the direction and supervision of the Curriculum Director, Programme Manager and lecturers to assist with teaching, learning and associated activities in accordance with college policies, procedures and individual Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP).
* Support whole classes; work with individuals and small groups of learners; assist with planning, delivery, and evaluation of learning activities.
* Collaborate with pastoral and welfare staff to support students in overcoming learning, physical or emotional barriers.

Requirements / Qualifications
The post requires working 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 17:00 (16:30 on Fridays) for 37 term time weeks per year, and a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Successful applicants will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS and Barred List check along with other legally required checks.
