Our client, a well-established and respected residential developer, is seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to support the delivery of a 150+ unit traditional build housing scheme in Thetford.

The Role
Reporting to the Site Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the development, helping to ensure plots are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting the Site Manager in managing subcontractors and trades on site
Coordinating works in line with programme targets
Monitoring health & safety compliance and site standards
Conducting quality inspections and ensuring NHBC standards are met
Assisting with site inductions and toolbox talks
Overseeing plot progress and ensuring timely completions
Managing materials, deliveries, and site logistics
Requirements
Proven experience as an Assistant Site Manager on residential schemes
Strong knowledge of traditional build housing projects
SMSTS or SSSTS
CSCS card
First Aid at Work
Good organisational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple trades and maintain programme momentum
