£32,916 – 51,048 per annum (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications). You will be paid to scale from day 1 of the placement.
20th April 2026 start, for a full year.
The School and Role
This secondary school, based in Darlington are looking to appoint a passionate Food Technology Teacher for a fixed term contract for a full year. Working in this secondary school as part of an established team, the desired Food Technology Teacher will be working with Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils.
Requirements
To be considered for the Food Technology teacher position, you will have:
1. Experience of working with secondary school aged children
2. Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
3. A passion for the progress of secondary school pupils
4. An ability to work as part of a team
