Job Title: Facilities Engineer (Temporary)

Our client, a dynamic organisation in the automotive sector, is seeking a skilled Facilities Engineer to join their team on a temporary basis. Responsibilities:
1. Define project requirements and scope of works
2. Coordinate tender scope with suppliers and evaluate tenders to achieve funding approval
3. Support the purchasing process for tender nomination
4. Generate planning and building control submissions
5. Monitor suppliers to ensure project delivery aligns with agreed plans
Key Deliverables:
6. Create and manage project plans to ensure timely completion
7. Oversee building projects to ensure safe and high-quality work
8. Provide progress reports to our client via phone, email, or in-person meetings
Skills/Experience:
9. Strong construction project management skills
10. Excellent problem-solving abilities
11. Automotive business experience preferred
12. Knowledge of civil engineering, including building construction methods and planning permission process
13. Familiarity with mechanical engineering, including steelwork construction and installations
14. Understanding of electrical engineering, including power transmission and distribution systems
15. Knowledge of health and safety legislation
16. Effective communication skills to interact with various stakeholders
Practical & Technical Knowledge:
17. Proven track record of successful project delivery
18. Understanding of construction processes and guidelines for effective planning and site management
19. Exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple building projects within budget and deadlines
20. Attention to detail for effective safety and construction work checks
21. Financial management of project budgets
