Care Support Worker
Job Type(s): Full and part time positions available
Salary: £13.00 per hour plus travel time and mileage.
Candlelight Care are seeking enthusiastic, caring, and reliable individuals to join our dedicated and friendly, family‑run team, supporting vulnerable adults in their own homes within Uckfield and surrounding areas. We have opportunities for full and part‑time Care and Support Workers. Typical shift patterns run from 7 am–2 pm and/or 4 pm–10 pm, with a commitment to alternate weekends. Driving is not always essential depending on location.
Key Responsibilities
* Get to know your clients and their interests and needs.
* Provide emotional and practical support, assist with personal care (washing, toileting, dressing), domestic household tasks and food preparation, tailored to each individual's needs.
* Assist with medication, use of mobility aids and personal equipment where required.
* Report to the Registered Manager any significant changes in a client's health or circumstances.
* Encourage clients to remain as independent as possible whilst acting in their best interests and safeguarding their wellbeing.
