Part-Time Finance Administrator (20 hours per week)

One of our most dynamic and well-known clients is seeking a Part-Time Finance Assistant to join their team at the Oxford office of this growing and innovative organisation. This role requires you to work in the office for 20 hours per week. Reporting to the Operations Director, you will provide efficient and accurate finance and administrative support to the wider business.

Salary: GBP 13,500 - GBP 15,000 (Pro-Rata, depending on experience)

Part-Time Finance Administrator Responsibilities

* Invoice Processing & Payment Tracking: Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, managing payments, and tracking expenditure.
* Petty Cash Administration: Oversee the management and reconciliation of petty cash transactions.
* Weekly Purchases: Process and monitor weekly company purchases, ensuring proper record-keeping and adherence to budget guidelines.
* Bookkeeping: Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks, maintaining accurate financial records.
* General Administration: Provide office administration support, including filing, managing finance communications, and assisting with other tasks as needed.

Experience Required

The ideal candidate will have strong office administration experience, particularly within finance or accounting. Familiarity with colleges, conferences, hospitality, or the Oxford area is advantageous. You should have robust invoicing experience, be highly organized, analytical, adaptable, and proactive. A positive attitude and willingness to improve processes and contribute to ad hoc projects are essential.

Location

Based in Oxford (OX2), with free parking available. The role is part-time, office-based, for 20 hours per week, and permanent.
