The role
As a Business Operations Lead, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll play a pivotal role in developing talent, optimising workflows, and enhancing operational reliability. Join us in shaping a high-performance, customer-focused operation.
Day-to-day, you’ll lead the Business Operations and Disposals Teams in delivering business support activities, ensuring greater efficiency and effectiveness in execution. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Assist the Head of Business Support and Programme Leads in developing, monitoring, and reporting on submarine delivery programme milestones.
* Coordinate data governance, ensuring accurate, high-quality reporting structures - manage dashboards and progress reports effectively.
* Support Programme Directors in executing business activities that enhance organisational efficiency and oversee benefits management.
* Maintain resource data, ensuring a consistent approach for integrated business planning in supply and demand profiling.
* Assist in refining business governance processes, including business continuity plans, to align with corporate requirements.
This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 3 days in the office/onsite and 2 days working from home.
Essential experience of the Business Operations Lead
* Extensive experience in Business or Project Management environments.
* Strong commercial and financial acumen, ensuring informed decision-making.
* Proven leadership with strategic thinking abilities to drive business success.
* Advanced IT proficiency and analytical skills for data-driven insights.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management, adept at working across all levels of the business.
Qualifications for the Business Operations Lead
* Degree-level qualification in STEM or Business-related fields.

The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
