With a strong reputation for delivering commercial, industrial, and logistics projects, we are expanding our North East team and now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join our Durham office, supporting projects in Sunderland.

The Role - Quantity Surveyor
Work across a variety of projects in the North East, reporting directly to a Commercial Manager. Initially working on a Housing Scheme in Sunderland.
Primarily site-based, providing commercial support to project teams throughout the region.
Ensure effective project administration, achieving commercial targets and maintaining strong customer focus.
Play a key role in cost management, contract administration, and subcontractor procurement.
What We're Looking For
Skills & Experience
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor working for a Main Contractor.
Familiarity with JCT/NEC forms of contract.
Knowledge of current Construction Law.
Experience in commercial management.
Skilled in procurement, subcontractor management, measurement, reporting, and cost control.
Strong knowledge of monthly reporting and earned value analysis.
Personal Attributes

Strong management and leadership potential.
Self-motivated with the ability to inspire colleagues.
Excellent planning and time management skills.
