Full-Time | Term Time Only | Monday-Friday | 8:30am-3:30pm
We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and resilient Unqualified Teaching Assistant to work within specialist provisions in the Burnley area, supporting students with SEN and SEMH additional needs.
This is a full-time, term-time only role offering a rewarding opportunity to support young people both academically and emotionally within a structured setting.
Role Responsibilities
Supporting students on a 1:1 and small group basis
Assisting the class teacher with tailored learning activities
Promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation
Creating a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment
Requirements
Willingness to support students with SEN and SEMH needs
Minimum 24 months employment references with no large unexplained gaps
Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service or willingness to pay and apply for one
Reliable, patient, and resilient approach

This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
